Vaccine passports proposed for Scottish nightclubs have been delayed for 17 days after the country's nightlife industry body launched a legal challenge to the scheme, which was intended to begin on Friday 1st October 2021. Venue owners and other industry professionals also joined the backlash.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has put forward new legislation that would effectively ban online secondhand ticket marketplaces from being accessed in Britain unless they are granted new types of licenses to operate. Sites such as Viagogo and StubHub could then be taken down if they are found to break consumer protraction laws.

Forum Birmingham is giving away 1000 free tickets to NHS and hospitality workers for the club's opening party on Friday 3rd September. 

The Midlands space has a full capacity of 3,500 and will offer a further 1,000 free entry spots to mailing list subscribers. 1000 free drinks will also be given away on the night in a partnership with Coors. All remaining tickets will cost £15. 

Thousands flocked to clubs and festivals in England this weekend as COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings were finally lifted after more than 16 months. 

England is the first country in the United Kingdom to green light dancing and remove social distancing requirements. Large events including the 40,000 capacity Latitude Festival in Suffolk, and Tramlines in Sheffield, all went ahead as planned.
