Denon DJ introduce new standalone DJ unit Prime 2
Denon DJ have announced a new standalone DJ unit, the Prime 2. A two-channel standalone unit, the new Prime 2 runs Denon DJ’s Engine OS operating system, and builds on the Prime 4 by adding some features from the new SC6000 player range that was announced last week.

Beatsource to launch online store with streaming through Beatport LINK
Beatsource – the joint venture between Beatport and DJCity, the multi-genre MP3 record pool website – has announced that A-Trak has joined its Board of Managers.
The new service is launching a digital download store in September, which will add Beatport LINK compatibility, meaning Beatsource will stream directly into DJ software and hardware, before the end of the year.
This new soft synth offers endless crazy modulation
Zone is a new synth from Audaire that offers crazy endless modulations via a step sequencer interface. Soft launched earlier this week, Zone is based around a step sequencer with variable step amounts and rates as well as endless lanes. Each sequencer lane can modulate any parameter by dragging and dropping the control onto the sequencer pane.
