It’s that time again! 2016’s Top 100 DJs poll launches on 6th July. The world’s biggest music poll, which attracts 1 million annual voters and inspires huge debate throughout the electronic music scene, is the definitive guide to the planet’s most popular DJs.
Ahead of the voting launch, we summarise this year’s big talking points...
Can Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike win again?
Mexican DJ, Iker Azcue, is 2016’s DJ Mag Wild Card Miller SoundClash winner! The talented DJ and producer, who was a finalist in 2015’s Wild Card competition, impressed the judges with a slick, big room mix that perfectly captures the high-energy sound of Las Vegas.
This year’s Miller SoundClash Wild Card category has been the biggest yet! Hundreds of mixes were submitted to Mixcloud from around the world, and the judges have had a real challenge to whittle the entries down to a final ten DJs!
We’ll be announcing on 17th June! The winning DJ will fly to Las Vegas to compete against DJs from around the world in the Miller SoundClash Grand Final!

This year’s victory marks the Ibiza superclub’s fourth time as champion, beating their own record from 2014. However it is a victory that is tinged with some sadness, as 2016 will be the venue’s final year of operation.
