Hyperdub is preparing the release of a new EP from footwork producer DJ Hank.
Spanning six tracks, 'City Stars' sees the Chicago-based artist channel R&B and Japanese ambient samples into the classic 160 BPM template of the footwork sound. '80s Japanese music by artists such as Midori Takada and Mkwaju Ensemble are namechecked as influences on the EP's two closing tracks, 'Kiosko' and 'Mkwa'.
Burial has released a new EP, ‘ANTIDAWN', via Hyperdub.
The five-track, 40-minute EP is the UK producer's first release for the label since December 2020's two-tracker 'Chemz / Dolphinz'. You can listen to it below.

Cooly G has announced her return to Hyperdub with the 'Save Me' EP. You can hear the lead track, 'We Can Find Love Too', below.
The two-track release marks Cooly G's first release for the label since 2017, and touches on influencesincluding amapiano, drill and UK Funky.
'We Can Find Love Too' features vocals from Ruth Brown, who was a finalist on the first series of BBC television show, 'The Voice'. The title track was co-produced with Marcus Damon.
Hyperdub is celebrating its Ø events with the launch of a new book, 'Zero', which is the first to come from the label's new publishing imprint, Flatlines Press, and is set for release on 12th October.
AYA has announced her debut album, 'im hole', which will land on Hyperdub on 22nd October.
