Robert Hood and his daughter Lyric have collaborated on the next Floorplan EP, set for release 24th May via the Detroit legend’s M-PLANT label.
The two tracker, ‘So Glad/I Feel Him Moving’, is a typically rapturous crossover of gospel, disco and techno. The release coincides with the duo’s first ever live show together at Movement, which takes place next weekend.

AVA Festival and Conference has confirmed its first names for this year, as the Belfast weekender looks to cement its status as Northern Irelend's most pioneering electronic music event, which is set for 1st and 2nd June 2018.
Sonus Festival has finalised its 2017 line-up with 12 more acts including Âme, Mimi, Agoria, Guti (live), Dense & Pika, Raresh, Ian F., Magda, Steffen Deux, Ivan Komlinovic (live), Valentino Kanzyani and Floorplan (live).
The fifth edition of the festival will run from 20th to 24th August on Pag Island in Croatia. The festival will also play host to five boat parties.

For their Essential Mix debut the father and daughter duo — who have recently released their new album 'Victorious' just last year — focussed on the soulful and gospel side of house music.
The duo's debut two hour mix is jampacked with a host of their own tracks and four-on-the-floor classics from the likes of Joey Negro, Frankie Knuckles and Ben Sims.
