The funds will be added to the £1.57 billion announced in July 2020

Support goes to Broadwick Live, which also owns The Drumsheds and Exhibition in London, and Manchester's Mayfield Depot

A #DearBoris virtual protest is also underway on social media, with 145,000 signatures and more than 5,000 letters now sent in support of the campaign 

The fund provides grants of £5,000 to £30,000 to businesses and not-for-profit collectives working in the music industry

Depot and The Drumsheds were also unsuccessful in their applications

This latest wave of funding follows the sharing of £257 million between more than 1,300 organisations last week

Printworks, Egg, Studio 338, Oval Space and The Pickle Factory were denied financial assistance in the first wave of Arts Council grants
