Mysterious UK producer Zomby has announced that he will release his next three-track EP on Big Dada Recordings next month.
The new EP represents a shift away from his use of soft synths towards a more hardware-focused approach to making music.
“I was tired of too much digitisation and over-saturation; this is a work that represents a shift forward for me,” the producer said of the EP's hardware focus in a press release.
The direction for the EP is described as a “behemoth of beats and breaks that fit somewhere between a chugging steel factory and a darkened dancefloor”.
Zomby, for those who are familiar, is a mysterious British electronic musician who began releasing music in 2007 on a variety of labels, including Hyperdub, Werk Discs, and 4AD.
