These are the DJs who played the most festivals in 2019

Lost Frequencies, Charlotte de Witte and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike were the top three performers

Festicket has shared its festival analytics for 2019, including the DJs who played the most festivals last year.

Topping the list with 49 performances was Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies, who performed on the main stage of Tomorrowland last year, as well as festivals like AMF and EDC China. Fellow Belgian artist, techno DJ Charlotte de Witte, also played the hallowed mainstage of Tomorrowland festival in 2019, as well as hosting her own KNTXT stage, and clocked up 39 festival performances across the year.

Last year's DJ Mag Top 100 DJ poll winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike also appeared in the top five, with 30 appearences, ahead of Amelie Lens and Martin Garrix, who tallied 28 and 26 festival performances respectively.

Festicket co-founder and CEO, Zack Sabban, shared in a statement: "As more and more people invest in going to music festivals (whether that's at home or abroad), we've seen them become an even greater source of income for artists. But it isn't all about the upfront money. Festivals provide artists with a valuable platform to showcase themselves to potential fans who may then go on to buy a record or see them at their own headline shows. It's therefore little wonder the artists in this report went above and beyond to hit up every festival stage they could in 2019."

Elsewhere in the list, UK band The 1975 racked up 44 festival performances, and Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. came in close second with 38 appearences on stage.

Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte will both play this year's Awakenings festival in June.

Lost Frequencies and Charlotte de Witte both perform at Tomorrowland's winter edition of the festival, which takes place from the 14th to the 21st March at the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski resort.
