Skrillex has been ordered to pay a fan $3.4 million after a stage-diving incident in 2012.

Jennifer Fraissl was awarded a total sum of $4.5 million after a jury found that Skrillex - real name Sonny Moore - was liable after Fraissi was injured, and later suffered a stroke, following the incident at a show at Belasco Theater in Downtown L.A. in 2012. A lawsuit was later filed in 2014.

In a statement, Moore said, "There is nothing more important to me than my fans and their safety at my shows. I want them to have fun and enjoy the music. While I'm disappointed by the jury's decision, I'm glad this process is over. I look forward to getting back to work and delivering new music to my fans."

It was recently announced that Mariah Carey has a second Skrillex collaboration on the way.

Skrillex also recently posted a video of being in the studio with Boys Noize, sparking rumours of a collaboration.

Moore returned last month with a new single alongside Joyryde, 'Agen Wida'.
