Cheese Porn Odyssey is the world's first-ever cheese and techno festival
And yes, we're serious!
Cheese Porn Odyssey, the world's first ever cheese and techno party, is giving punters the chance to dance to bass kicks whilst eating the finest cheeses of the Auvergne region, in where else but France.
The first two in a series of four parties will be taking place on the 29th and 30th December, in one of the finest ski resorts in France, the historic Mont-Dore ski resort.
It's organisers, the Perchèopolis Collective, also run another festival in Auvergne region called Châtean Perché (or Perched Castle), a deep house & techno party set in a remote castle.
The first day starts with punters hiking to the the Massif Du Sancy, a volcano that's been dormant for thousands of years, and will then continue at the Hangar A Dameuse, whilst overlooking breathtaking mountain range landscapes.
And whilst the cheese (including vegan options) only goes on until 6am, the sets, provided by such acts as Aes Dana, Pierre Noisez, Savaggio, Ada Kaleh and Milan Kobar, will go on 'til midday the next day, culminating in an after-party set in a 'secret, cosy place', with 'ambient sounds' and 'tea and smoothies'.
Cheese Porn Odyssey joins in with the rising popularity of boutique festivals globally, like the DJ Mag Best of British Best Boutique Festival winner Lost Village, and World Club Dome's first ever zero-gravity festival.
