AZEALIA BANKS REMOVED FROM BORN & BRED LINE-UP OVER RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC RANT
Rapper dropped from London festival after Twitter outburst last night…
Azealia Banks has been removed from the line-up of Rinse’s Born & Bred festival after she targeted Zayn Malik in a racist and homophobic Twitter rant last night.
In an incredible series of social media posts that have now been deleted, Banks referred to Malik as a “curry scented bitch”, “sand nigga”, “faggot”, “fudgepacker” and “paki”, as well as turning on the ex-One Direction star’s mother, who Banks branded “a dirty refugee who won’t be granted asylum”.
In a statement released on Instagram, which you can see below, Born & Bred confirmed that they have decided to cancel Banks’ appearance as Sunday headliner, saying the festival celebrates “inclusivity and equality”.
Last year Ten Walls was axed from from Creamfields and Sónar after he labelled homosexuals “another breed” and compared homosexuality to child abuse.
