There’s a festival going down on a sun-soaked vineyard deep in the south of France this summer.
Taking place from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September, Machine du Vin boasts an impressive line-up stuffed with big names like Bonobo, 2manydjs, Tourist, Hercules & Love Affair plus many more.
Other acts on the line-up include Booka Shade, CC;Disco!, Claptone, Erol Alkan, Hot Dub Time Machine, Human Movement, Young Franco, Yuksek, What So Not, The Magician and Late Nite Tuff Guy.
Pitching itself as “a magical three-day, music, wine, food and arts spectacular,” the festival takes place on the grounds of the medieval L’Abbaye-Chateau de Camon — a castle in “the most beautiful village in France” according to event organisers. It’s the company’s first ever international event, having previously put on popular audio-visual party Hot Dub Wine Machine in Australia since 2011.
Despite its remoteness, Machine du Vin is easily accessible by train, while London, Paris and Berlin are only a couple of hours flight away. A variety of camping and glamping options are available, but weekend tickets are limited to “a few thousand” and start from £87 plus booking fee.
