The 15th edition of Awakenings festival will take place Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th; the internationally renowned festival will take place on Spaarnwoud Houtrak, near Amsterdam in Holland.
The festival, dubbed as Europe's largest outdoor techno event, will host more than 100 artists in eight individual areas, showing the best of techno in all its diversity. Long-time collaborators of the occasion Minus (Richie Hawtin's imprint), ElectricDeluxe (Speedy J, Joris Voorn & Friends) and Drumcode will all host their own stages across the Dutch location.
Heavy-hitting Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer is set to play the techno mecca alongside Alan Fitzpatrick, Apollonia, Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann, Carl Craig, Dense & Pika, Eats Everything, Gaiser, Luciano, Loco Dice and Maya Jane Coles — just to name a select few.
The Saturday of the esteemed techno ceremony will see the Awakenings organization host a special 15-year anniversary stage, where all acts featured have had a huge influence on the Awakenings brand since the very beginning; paying homage to the respected event. Joey Mull, Billy Nasty, The Advent and Cari Lekebusch will all be there to celebrate the edition in style.
