AWAKENINGS ADDS MORE TOP TECHNO NAMES
Dave Clarke and Carl Cox down for acclaimed Dutch fest
Set in Holland, Awakenings is arguably the world's largest outdoor techno festival, and they've just added a whole load of names for their 14th annual event. Holland isn't just about EDM – oh no!
Dave Clarke, the 'Baron of Techno' who now lives in Holland, has just been confirmed to head up the Area X stage on Saturday June 28th and Sunday June 29th, and Carl Cox will be hosting his own Carl Cox & Friends stage on both days as well. This is the first time that Awakenings will take place over two separate days.
Joining Coxy will be Dubfire & Paco Osuna, Henrik Schwarz (live), Joop Junior, Marco Carola and Nic Fanciulli on the Saturday and Maceo Plex, John Digweed, Jon Rundell, Pan-Pot and Karotte on the Sunday.
Dave Clarke, meanwhile, has people like DJ Rush, Gregor Tresher and The Advent (live) playing with him on the Saturday, and Nina Kraviz, Gesaffelstein and Ben Sims on the Sunday.
Other names already confirmed include Sven Väth, Joris Voorn, Seth Troxler, Jeff Mills, Maya Jane Coles, Gui Boratto (live) and various exclusive b2b sessions from the likes of Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann, Adam Beyer & Joseph Capriati, Blawan & Sigha, Perc & Truss, Bart Skills & 2000 And One and so on.
