The audio visual and VJ scene may still be a small industry, but it is already developing in a mature and focused manner.
VJ Anyone (who was voted no.5 in DJmag's Top 20 VJs 2005 poll) has organised a series of audiovisual meetings, where industry insiders, VJs, DJs, and AV enthusiasts can meet and network in London.
'The AV Social' had a successful launch at Clerkenwell House last month, and the second installment looks like it's going to go the same way.
Top AV band Punkvert will be performing at the 3rd June event, as will VJ Catweasel, VJ Oxygen, Tom Real, and DJ Baa Baa, who should set a unique visually stimulating atmosphere complete with top electronic music.
Clerkenwell House offers a unique space for The AV Social, with projectors, plasma screens, and a custom soundsystem in each of its two rooms.
